We rolled out early in the morning and made it to a temple in the famous mountain national park, Seoraksan. The temple was beautiful... and so are my coworkers. :D
There was a huge Buddha statue... And yes, we were those tourists.

We then took a cable car up to the top of the mountain...
and then we got to climb a bit more to reach the top.
It was pretty steep.

We were doing pretty well on the climb, but then the Korean ROTC beat us up.
When we reached the top, it was pretty awesome.
On the way down, we actually ran into one of our great students, Sally. Her family happened to be staying at our same hotel, too... So we ran into them periodically throughout the weekend. :D Such a cutie!!!
We took the cable car back down...
... and drove to the sea to eat some delicious 회, raw fish. It's not sushi... because sushi comes with rice, etc, etc, etc. This is just straight up fish.
After everything is eaten, they throw it all into a soup, leaving the fish to look like this.
They also think that fish eyes are especially delicious... and that they'll give you good eyesight if ingested. So, why not?
Mmmm... delicious...
Anyway, it was a great experience. :D Fun group of people!
After dinner, we walked back to the vans through the fish market, where our dinner came from.
This was the main course. Each one cost about $60... a bit ridiculous, if you ask me. And they said it was a tourist trap.
And this was a pleasant surprise. For $200, I hope it's delicious!
And then there are my favorites, the penis fish. Yes, you eat these raw. And Koreans don't seem to find anything ... a bit... interesting about these fish. Apparently they're chewy...
Anyway, after our market adventure, we went to our condo. Great place.
Not only did they provide dolly-carts for cart races...
... they also had norebang! The karaoke rooms!
Fun for all!
And then we had a party in the hotel room. Niceuh! We played lots of Korean party games. Fun!
The next morning, we got up and went to a film set. Well, I think it was a film set at one time. Clara took tons of photos of Sarah and me. Here are some of my favorites: Clara found a new husband. Shhhh!

What a great group!
Great vacation. My last official SLP tour. :'( Beautiful memories of beautiful people. I've been really lucky here. <3
